The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers for the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering companies including new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency reported it truly is alarmed in regards to the higher range of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The purpose in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the substantial range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no totally functional office committed to service the area on a daily basis. The provider issue developed for intervention activities a high influx of likely beneficiaries, that makes it difficult for your Workplace to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more assets to empower the servicing of all customers and boost use of Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
